The annual 学生参与及领袖奖 (SILA) sponsored by the 多元文化参与与包容中心(CMEI) recognizes our students for their leadership, 学业成绩, 通过学生组织为社会变革做出贡献, 兄弟会和姐妹会生活, 第一代计划, 股本编程, 走鹃田径, 和整体领导能力. Each year, students and groups are recognized for their outstanding contributions to 密歇根州立大学丹佛.

The “年度优秀学生干部” award recognizes an 密歇根州立大学丹佛 student leader that embodies a deep commitment to the CADRE (Community, 访问, 多样性, 尊重, 和卓越)核心价值观. 此外, this award’s recipient has balanced high academic achievement with significant leadership responsibility within their respective campus or community-based organization. 学生必须至少有3个.25日平均绩点, 担任课外项目(校园或社区)的负责人, and a demonstrated commitment to excellence in their leadership roles.

Presented to the 密歇根州立大学丹佛 faculty or staff member who has shown exemplary support to students and gone above and beyond the minimal responsibilities of the student organization advisor position. 通过对学生的承诺, this mentor sets an example and works as an advocate for students among faculty and administration.
This award is given to an individual who demonstrates special commitment and leadership to the organization. 在提名个人时, think of those members who will be difficult to replace due to their energy, 努力, 或者愿意帮助组织向前发展. These individuals set an example for others to follow and help inspire others in the organization to get more involved.
These awards are given to student groups for programs and leadership that may not fit into a traditional category or criteria. Examples include student organizations that have collaborated in unique and different ways and student organizations that have taken a programmatic risk or challenged tradition.
Presented to the organization distinguishing itself as an example organization for others to follow.

Honors a faculty member who demonstrated support of 第一代 students’ education, showed exemplary advocacy towards 第一代 students’ academic success, and assisted in continuing to strengthen the 第一代 community at 密歇根州立大学丹佛.
Honors an administrator or staff member who demonstrated support of 第一代 students’ education, showed exemplary advocacy towards 第一代 students’ academic success, and assisted in continuing to strengthen the 第一代 community at 密歇根州立大学丹佛.
联谊会 & 姐妹会生活领袖奖标准
由 联谊会 & 女生联谊会的生活 (目前)团队, awards are presented to recognized Fraternities and Sororities based on the chapter’s submission of the Rise 认证. The Rise 认证 program is to ensure that recognized fraternity and sorority chapters at 密歇根州立大学丹佛 are meeting the expectations of what it means to be a part of this community. The CMEI FSL believes that as one chapter excels it also helps to raise the rest of the community. All our FSL chapters can continually grow and improve; achieving the goals they set for themselves in each of the areas below and to provide congruence with the eight points of emphasis of fraternities and sororities:
